Checking Whether the Internet Can Be Accessed from a Computer or Smartphone

Browser cache

Check whether the Internet can be accessed from a computer or smartphone.

The browser saves the content displayed on frequently accessed webpages to cache. Note that even if there appears to be access, there may be no connection. If the Internet cannot be accessed from a computer, smartphone, or tablet, check the connection of the wireless router and computer/smartphone/tablet.

If an application for managing the wireless router is available, use it to access the wireless router. If not, refer to the manual for the wireless router and then use a Web browser to access the wireless router. When doing so, use the information of the wireless router confirmed in "Information Required for Wireless Connection to Wireless Router." After connecting with the application or browser, check the Internet connection method.

Wireless routers update their firmware frequently. If the application is not the latest version, we recommend updating it.

Once an Internet connection can be established from the computer/smartphone/tablet, perform the setup again from the setup application.

If printing is not possible even after performing the setup again, refer to the following pages. If the problem is with the wired LAN, proceed to "Cannot Connect by Wired LAN".
