What is PosterArtist QuickCopy?

An application to print enlarged copies of photos and documents acquired from a scanner.
Simply click the Copy button in PosterArtist QuickCopy to create posters from enlarged copies of originals in your scanner. It is as straightforward as printing copies on a copy machine. You can also edit the acquired image data in PosterArtist to use it as materials in posters.

PosterArtist QuickCopy requires CanoScan series scanner or PIXUS inkjet multi function printer.

How can I print in a large format?

To print large format non-standard size posters, in the Paper Options task, specify the page size in Set Custom Size first.
To enlarge and print filling the entire roll paper width, place a checkmark for Enlarged/Reduced Printing or Borderless Printing then select Fit Long Side to Roll Width or Fit Short Side to Roll Width.

How can I print without borders?

To print without borders, prepare roll paper whose width and paper type support borderless printing.
For information on paper that supports borderless printing, see the manual of your printer.
To print without borders, in the Paper Options task, select a paper type and roll paper width that support borderless printing in Media Type and Roll Paper Width, then place a checkmark for Borderless Printing. If the roll paper width is different from the poster width, select Fit Long Side to Roll Width or Fit Short Side to Roll Width.
Note that borderless printing is not available for cut sheets.

How can I use the variable printing function?

To use the variable printing function, prepare tabular data in Excel format (.xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, or .xlsb) or in CSV format (.csv).
To read created tabular data, in the Variable Data settings panel for the Edit task, select Connect to.

How can I print by rotating posters 90 degrees?

To print filling the entire roll paper width, in the Paper Options settings panel, select Fit Long Side to Roll Width (for portrait-oriented posters) or Fit Short Side to Roll Width (for landscape-oriented posters).
If the width or length is different from the roll paper width, it is not possible to print by rotating posters 90 degrees in the original scale.

How can I specify the paper size of my choice?

The paper size of your choice can be specified in Set Custom Size in the Paper Options settings panel.

How can I insert data from other software?

Data created with Microsoft Office applications can be inserted.
Other data such as PDF files cannot be inserted.

Which printers can I use?

Printing posters requires a PosterArtist supported printer.

In addition to the printer for standard printing, a printer can be specified for test printing in the Preferences dialog box.

How can I print on a cut sheet with no image cut off?

In the Paper Options settings panel, place a checkmark for Enlarged/Reduced Printing, then select Fit in Printable Area.

What is the ambient light setting?

Ambient light color and brightness vary by environment factor such as location (indoors or outdoors) or lighting (fluorescent or incandescent). Therefore the same poster may look different depending on where it is displayed.
The ambient light setting functions allow you to adjust colors automatically according to the environment so that the created poster's color tone looks good.

What should I do when I replace my computer or hard disk?

When replacing your computer or hard disk, license authentication will be required again.
