Preparing to Save Scanned Data to a USB Flash Drive

Make settings to allow scan data to be saved to a USB flash drive.

This operation is available using the operation panel or Remote UI.

Important

  • Administrator privileges are required to change settings.

Using Operation Panel

  1. In the Home screen, select Menu.

  2. Select Function Settings.

  3. Select Store/Access Files.

  4. Select Memory Media Settings.

    If a login screen appears, enter the Administrator ID and Administrator PIN, and select Log In.

  5. In Use Scan Function, select On.

  6. Restart the printer.

    Settings are applied.

Note

  • You can use Store/Access Files to change settings for USB flash drive.

Using Remote UI

  1. Log in to the Remote UI in Administrator Mode

  2. Select Settings/Registration.

  3. In Function Settings, select Store/Access Files Settings.

  4. Select Memory Media Settings.

  5. Select Edit....

  6. Checkmark Store to Memory Media, and select OK.

  7. Restart the printer.

    Settings are applied.
