The image is blurry in copy/scan

If problems occur with copying, you need to identify whether the issue is with scanning or printing.

Scan the original, and if you see similar problems in the scanned image, see Scan-related troubleshooting. If there are no problems with the scanned image, see Print-related troubleshooting.

Scan-related troubleshooting

1. Check 1 Is the setting value for Sharpness too low?

   Increasing the scan setting value for Sharpness may improve the issue.

   • If the issue improves by adjusting the scan settings, the same problem may also occur when copying, so it is recommend to adjust the copy settings as well.

2. Check 2 Is the scan resolution too low?

   Increasing the scan resolution may improve the issue.

3. Check 3 Is Mask Seam set to On or Auto?

   Setting Mask Seam to Off may improve the issue.

4. Check 4 Is the original loaded correctly?

   Reloading the original correctly may improve the issue.
