The length in the paper eject direction is not accurate in copy/scan

If problems occur with copying, you need to identify whether the issue is with scanning or printing.

Scan the original, and if you see similar problems in the scanned image, see Scan-related troubleshooting. If there are no problems with the scanned image, see Print-related troubleshooting.

Scan-related troubleshooting

  1. Check 1 Are the actually-set original and the original type as selected in the touch screen the same?

  2. Check 2 Is the original feeding speed adjusted correctly?

Print-related troubleshooting

  1. Check 3 Are the actually-set paper and the paper type as selected in the touch screen the same?

  2. Check 4 In the touch screen menu in Paper Feed Adjustment, is Set Priority set to Prioritize Print Quality?

In Paper Feed Adjustment, set Set Priority to Prioritize Length Accuracy, then run Adjust Feed Length.
