What Is PosterArtist QuickCopy?

It is an application to print enlarged copies of scanned photos and documents. Simply click the Copy button in PosterArtist QuickCopy to create posters from enlarged copies of originals in your scanner.

Scanned items can also be inserted in posters as PosterArtist materials.

Which Scanners Support PosterArtist QuickCopy?

A CanoScan series scanner or PIXMA Inkjet All-In-One printer is required. Access our website for information on scanners compatible with PosterArtist QuickCopy.

How Can I Perform Large-Format Printing?

How Can I Print Without Borders?

The following two methods are available for borderless printing.

Depending on your model, you will need to prepare roll paper whose width and paper type support borderless printing. For information on paper that supports borderless printing, click Home to return to the top page of the Online Manual for your model and search for "Paper Size." Borderless printing is not available for cut sheets.

How Can I Use the Variable Printing Function?

To use the variable printing function, prepare tabular data in Excel format (.xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, or .xlsb) or in CSV format (.csv).

How Can I Print by Rotating Posters 90 Degrees?

To print filling the entire roll paper width, in the Paper Options screen, select Fit Long Side to Roll Width (for vertical posters) or Fit Short Side to Roll Width (for horizontal posters).

If the width or length is different from the roll paper width, it is not possible to print by rotating posters 90 degrees in the original scale.

How Can I Specify Paper Size of My Choice?

The paper size of your choice can be specified in Set Custom Size... in the Paper Options screen.

How Can I Insert Data from Other Software?

Data created with Microsoft Office applications can be inserted. Other data such as PDF files cannot be inserted.

Which Printers Can I Use?

Posters can be printed only on Canon printers and Océ printers that support PosterArtist.

When you use PRO-1000, PRO-500, or printers other than Canon imagePROGRAF series, the Paper Options screen setting method is different.

The printer to use for test printing can be specified in the Preferences dialog box.

How Can I Print on a Cut Sheet Without the Image Being Cut Off?

In the Paper Options screen, select the Enlarged/Reduced Printing checkbox, select Fit in Printable Area, and then print.

What Is the Ambient Light Setting?

Ambient light color and brightness vary by environmental factors such as location (indoors or outdoors) or lighting (fluorescent or incandescent). Therefore the same poster may appear different depending on where it is displayed.

Use the ambient light setting functions to adjust colors automatically according to the environment to visually enhance the poster's color tones.

What Should I Do when I Replace My Computer or Hard Disk?

When replacing your computer or hard disk, license authentication will be required again.
