The original size is not recognized correctly

1. Check 1 Is the inside of the scanning unit dirty?

   If there is dirt inside the scanning unit, the original size may not be recognized correctly.

2. Check 2 Are you using a transparent original or an original with torn edges?

   With transparent originals or originals with torn edges, automatic detection of the original size may fail. In the touch screen menu, set Scan Size for the original to Specify Custom Size.
