Data Management

This item is displayed when Menu then Management Settings is selected in the Home screen.

Important

  • Administrator privileges are required for displaying/changing some setting items. The printer may need to be restarted for some settings to be applied.

  • Import/Export

    Import/export the address book. If using the operation panel to import/export the address book, use a USB flash drive.

  • Enable Prod. Ext'd Survey Prog.

    Set whether to use the Product Extended Survey Program. The Product Extended Survey Program is a program installed in the PC when the driver is installed.

    If this setting is ON, information on the printer's current usage is sent to Canon based on the Product Extended Survey Program settings for sending data. If this setting is OFF, the Product Extended Survey Program does not send information on the printer's current usage.

  • Settings for Data Sending

    Set whether to send information to an external server, to facilitate use by a linked external service and the analysis of current use.

  • Initialize Key and Certificate

    Initialize key and certificate settings as well as CA certificate settings, and erase all keys and certificates other than pre-installed ones.

  • Initialize Address Book

    Erase destinations registered in the address book.

  • Initialize Menu

    Initialize settings of Menu in the Home screen. Select setting items to initialize.
