Remote UI Settings/Update Firmware

This item is displayed when Menu then Management Settings is selected in the Home screen.

Important

• Administrator privileges are required for displaying/changing some setting items. The printer may need to be restarted for some settings to be applied.

• Remote UI Settings

  Make settings for using the Remote UI and restricting access.

  • Remote UI

    Set whether to use the Remote UI. If using the Remote UI, you can also set whether to encrypt communication when using the Remote UI with TLS.

  • Use Password

    To use the Remote UI, set this to On, and set a Remote UI password.

• Update Firmware

  Update the printer's firmware via the Internet or a PC, or check the firmware version.
