Cannot find any access points.

Cause

An error occurred, preventing the printer from detecting the wireless router (access point).

What to Do

  1. Check 1 Is the connection method configured correctly?

    Select the connection method according to the method supported by the wireless router.

  2. Check 2 Did you connect within the fixed time?

    When connecting by pressing a button on the wireless router, set the connection method on the operation panel of the printer, and then press the button on the wireless router within one or two minutes.

  3. Check 3 Are the SSID and network key configured correctly?

    When entering the wireless router information manually, check the SSID and network key of the wireless router, and configure the settings correctly on the printer.

  4. Check 4 Are the printer and wireless router located appropriately?

    • The machine and wireless LAN router should be installed in a location without walls or other obstructions between the devices and within range of 50 m (164 ft.).

    • Do not install near a microwave oven, digital cordless telephone, or other device that generates radio waves.

  5. Check 5 Check the security settings of the wireless router.
