This section describes how to add clipart from the library to your poster.
For instructions on adding clipart to the poster from folders on your computer or from a scanner, see "Inserting Images and Materials."

1. In the Edit task, select Clipart.
The Clipart settings panel is displayed.

2. In Category, select a clipart category.
Thumbnails of clipart in the selected category appear.

3. Select clipart from the thumbnails and double-click it.
(Otherwise, drag and drop the selected clipart to the poster.)
The selected clipart is added to the poster.

4. Resize or rotate the clipart you added or change the position as desired. You can also align it with other objects or reorder it within a group of objects. For more information, see "Working with Objects."

Using temporary tray

Place photos you are not sure whether to use or frequently used photos in temporary tray to use them immediately when needed.
This section describes how to add/remove clipart to/from temporary tray and how to add clipart in the tray to posters.

Adding clipart to temporary tray

Adding clipart to temporary tray from thumbnails

1. In the Edit task, select Clipart.
The Clipart settings panel is displayed.

2. In Category, select a clipart category.
Thumbnails of clipart in the selected category appear.

3. Select clipart from the thumbnails and then drag and drop it to temporary tray.
The selected clipart is added to the tray.

Adding clipart to temporary tray from the View All Clipart dialog box

1. In the Edit task, select Clipart.
The Clipart settings panel is displayed.

2. Click (View All Clipart).
The View All Clipart dialog box is displayed.

3. In Category, select a clipart category.
Thumbnails of clipart in the selected category appear.

4. Select clipart from the thumbnails and click Add to Temporary Tray.
The selected clipart is added to the tray.

To show or hide temporary tray, use the button on the right of the poster. (When the poster is in landscape orientation, use the button below it.)

From Windows Explorer, etc., image files can be dragged and dropped to temporary tray.
For supported file formats, see "Supported images."

To remove clipart from temporary tray, select clipart and press the Delete key, or right-click it and select Delete from the menu.
Even after removing clipart from the tray, the original files remain on your computer.

Adding clipart to posters from temporary tray

1. Select clipart in temporary tray and then drag and drop it to the poster.
The selected clipart is added to the poster.

To replace clipart on the poster with those in temporary tray, select clipart in temporary tray and then drag and drop it to the clipart on the poster.

Replacing clipart

This section describes how to replace clipart on your poster with other clipart from the library.
For instructions on replacing clipart with other clipart from folders on your computer, see "Inserting Images and Materials."

1. In the Edit task, select Clipart.
The Clipart settings panel is displayed.

2. On the poster, click the clipart you want to replace.

3. In Category, select a clipart category.
Thumbnails of clipart in the selected category appear.

4. Select clipart from the thumbnails and double-click it.
The original clipart is replaced with the new one.

Clipart can also be added or replaced by right-clicking clipart in the library.
Insert to Poster: Adds clipart.
Replace: Replaces clipart selected on the poster.
Add to Temporary Tray: Adds clipart to temporary tray.

Removing clipart

1. Right-click clipart on the poster and select Delete.
(Otherwise, click the clipart and press the Delete key.)
The clipart is removed from the poster.

Changing the color of clipart

Resize or rotate clipart on the poster or change the position or color as desired.
This section describes how to change the color of clipart.

1. In the Edit task, select Clipart.
The Clipart settings panel is displayed.

2. On the poster, click the clipart for which you want to change the color.

3. In Clipart Color, the current clipart color and basic colors are displayed. To use one of the basic colors, click the corresponding button. To use other colors, click Custom and select a color from the Color dialog box.

The clipart color may not be editable in some cases. Clipart colors can only be changed when Clipart Color is valid.

New colors may only be applied to one portion of the clipart, depending on the clipart design.

For clipart, Trim, Gradation, Slant Correction, Opacity and Retouch Image are not available.
