Adjusting Line Length
To ensure that lines in CAD drawings are printed at exactly the right length, use Adjust feed length to adjust the amount that paper is advanced.

This can be adjusted for each output destination.
Note
- We recommend executing the adjustment if you have changed the paper type or paper size.

Always check the Set priority values before adjustment.

Make sure the paper output support and top output guide are installed. The printed adjustment pattern may fall out of the paper output tray.
Follow the procedure below to adjust.

Load paper.
Important

Always make sure the loaded paper matches the type of paper specified.
Adjustment cannot be completed correctly unless the loaded paper matches the settings.

Flick HOME screen and tap Maintenance.

Tap Paper feed adjustment.

Tap Adjust feed length (top).
-
Tap Print alignment pattern.
-
Tap paper to adjust.
A test pattern is printed.

Examine the test pattern to measure the scale and calculate the discrepancy.
The scale bar prints "Millimeter" in 50 mm increments and "Inch" in 1-inch increments.

Tap amount of discrepancy.
If the scale is shorter than the actual size, use a positive setting value.
If it is longer, use a negative value.
The feed amount can be adjusted in 0.02% increments.
A test pattern is printed.

Repeat steps 7 and 8.
The adjustment value is now registered, and adjustment is complete.

If you tap Print alignment pattern:
The test pattern is printed for you to measure the scale and calculate the discrepancy.
The scale bar prints "Millimeter" in 50 mm increments and "Inch" in 1-inch increments.

If you tap Change adjustment values:
No test pattern is printed.
Instead, you will measure a document already printed to determine the discrepancy.

Tap amount of discrepancy.
