Paper is not fed automatically

1. Check 1 This paper cannot be fed automatically.

   Depending on the printer usage conditions (media type, paper width, temperature, humidity, etc.), auto feed may not be possible.

   Set Paper retention settings to Release in the touch screen menu and feed the paper manually.

   Note

   • While this setting is selected, you cannot use automatic roll paper switching.

2. Check 2 Are you using an old roll holder?

   Be sure to use the roll holder supplied with the printer.

3. Check 3 The leading edge of the roll paper may not be cut properly.

   If the leading edge of the roll paper is slanted or folded, the paper may not be fed correctly. Cut the leading edge with scissors to straighten it. If the roll paper has a barcode printed on it, be careful not to cut the barcode part.
