Volume Settings

This item is displayed when Menu then Preferences is selected in the Home screen.

• Entry Tone

  Set whether a tone is emitted when an operation panel key or button is pressed.

• Invalid Entry Tone

  Set whether a tone is emitted for an invalid key operation, such as entering a value that is outside the setting range.

• Warning Tone

  Set whether a tone is emitted when the printer experiences trouble, such as a paper jam or misoperation.

• Energy Saver Alert

  Set whether a tone is emitted when the printer enters or exists sleep mode.

• Original in Feeder Detection Tone

  Set whether a tone is emitted when the printer detects an original loaded in the original feed slot.
