Setting Password
Change the administrator password by following the steps below.

An administrator password is specified at the time of purchase.

Some models require to change the initial administrator password. If required, change the password and make sure you don't forget it.

The administrator password consists of alphanumeric uppercase and lowercase. Depending on the model, the character restrictions apply to the password according to the password and security policies. Follow the policies to set the password.

We recommend changing the initial administrator password.

Open Remote UI on the web browser of your device.

Select Security.
The menus are displayed.

Select Administrator password setting.

Select Change administrator password.
If the administrator password is not set, registration confirming message is displayed. Select Yes. When message is displayed again, click OK.
Select the scope for administrator password and click OK.

Enter a password, and then select OK.
Important-
You can set the password strength using the password policy.
Password strength can be configured in terms of password length and rules for the characters to be used in the password.

The factory settings are 8 (minimum) to 32 (maximum) characters. (This varies depending on the model).
Available characters include single-byte alphanumeric characters, spaces, umlauts, and the following characters.

When the completion message is displayed, select OK.
