Registering User Information to Canon Inkjet Cloud Printing Center

To use the Canon Inkjet Cloud Printing Center, you need to follow the steps described below and register My account information.

Downloading the Canon PRINT

  1. Download the Canon PRINT on your smartphone or tablet

    The Canon PRINT is available for free download from the App Store/Google Play.
    Click here to download it.

  2. Launch the Canon PRINT

  3. Register your printer to Canon PRINT

    Register your printer, following the instruction on the screen.

Registering user information in the Canon Inkjet Cloud Printing Center

  1. Launch the Canon PRINT from your smartphone or tablet

  2. From the main screen of Canon PRINT, tap the printer icon

  3. On the Printer Settings screen, tap Register to Cloud

    When the printer registration message appears, tap OK.

    When the password authentication screen appears, enter your password and tap OK.

    Note

    • If Register to Cloud is not displayed on the Printer Settings screen, perform the following procedure if the printer you are using can print the URL of the authentication site needed for registering to IJ Cloud Printing Center. To confirm whether the printer you are using can print the URL of the authentication site, see "Models that Can Print the URL of the Authentication Site".

      • If your printer can print the URL of the authentication site
        Tap More -> Cloud from the Main screen of Canon PRINT. When the Start screen of Canon Inkjet Cloud Printing Center appears, tap Create new account, and then follow the instructions that will be displayed on the screen and enter user information.
      • If your printer cannot print the URL of the authentication site
        Tap Printer Information from the Printer Settings screen. When the printer information menu is displayed, select IJ Cloud Printing Center setup (or Web service connection setup -> IJ Cloud Printing Center setup).
  4. When the IJ Cloud Printing Center setup screen appears, tap Yes(or Register with this service -> Yes)

    Perform authentication according to the instructions displayed on the screen.

  5. Select the language you want to use in the Service registration screen, and then select OK

    Follow the instructions that will be displayed on the screen and register user information.

    Note

    • You can skip the printer serial number input screen that is displayed when performing registration.
  6. Read the terms displayed in the Terms of use screen

    In the Terms of use and Privacy policy screens, read the statements, and then select Agree if you agree.

  7. Enter Nickname

    Enter any user name that you want to use.

    Important

    • The user name entry field has the following character restrictions:

      • The user name must be between 1 and 20 characters long, using single-byte alphanumeric characters and symbols (!"#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}~). (Alphabets are case-sensitive)
  8. Specify the Time zone setting, and select Done

    Select your region on the list. If you cannot find your region on the list, select the one closest to your region.

    Apply daylight saving time
    This appears only when there is a daylight saving time in the Time zone that you selected.
    Select whether or not to apply the daylight saving time.
  9. Select OK when the registration completion message is displayed

    The main registration is complete.
