Issue the registration code from the printer and register

Follow the steps below to issue the registration code from the printer operation panel, and register your printer.

  1. Check that the printer is connected to the Internet

    To use this function, you must connect this printer to the Internet.

  2. Issue the registration code using "Web service setup"

    The operation differs depending on whether the printer screen is a color screen or a monochrome screen.

    3. If you are using a printer with a color screen

    1. On the printer screen, select -> Web service setup -> Issue registration code in that order

      The Registration code will be displayed.

    If you are using a printer with a monochrome screen

    1. Press the OK button on the printer operation panel, or press the button, and then press the OK button

    2. On the displayed screen, Select Web service setup -> Issue registration code

      The Registration code will be displayed.

  3. Enter the registration code

    Open the app you want to use, and enter the registration code that was issued.

  4. Register your printer

    Follow the instructions on the screen and register your printer.

Important

  • The registration code is valid for one hour after being issued. Complete the registration process within 1 hour.
