Before using Remote UI for the first time

Check the initial password

The password for the printer is set at the time of purchase.

To check the default password, select Printer information > System information on the printer's operation panel, then select Show password on the displayed screen.The value of Default password will be displayed on the System information screen.

Note

• If the administrator password has been changed, the value of Default password will not be displayed.

After logging in, it is recommended to change the administrator password.
