Reset the Remaining Ink Level Count

You can reset the remaining ink level count from the Canon IJ Printer Assistant Tool.
When the ink tank contains ink, and you refill it to the upper limit, the remaining ink level count is reset to 100%.

Remaining Ink Notification Settings

  1. Open Canon IJ Printer Assistant Tool

  2. Check that the printer is on, and click Remaining Ink Notification Settings.

    The Remaining Ink Notification Settings dialog box appears.

  3. If necessary, set the following item:

    Resets the Remaining Ink Level Count
    Select the ink color and click Reset to reset the remaining ink level count.

    Important

    • When you reset the remaining ink level count, you must refill the ink tank to the upper limit line.

  4. Apply the settings

    When the confirmation message appears click OK, and then click Close.
    From this point on, the setting is applied.
