Printing after Color Management

In Print Studio Pro, you can print photos in high quality by changing the print mode according to the objective.

Want to print by correctly reflecting the characteristics of the data displayed on the monitor

Want to print according to the characteristics of the paper to be used

Want to print an sRGB image using Canon Digital Photo Color

Want to print an edited/retouched sRGB image in the edited/retouched state

Color Management Supported by Each Model

The color management functions vary by the Printer selected in the Settings area (Print Settings), and therefore the displayed setting items vary accordingly.

Perform color management using the following table as a reference.

  • *1 When printing using ICC profiles, select Rendering Intent. Print results of the Perceptual option are affected by the selected Printer.

    For Canon PRO-1 series, Canon Pro9500 II series, and Canon Pro9000 II series:

    Reproduces the image focusing on the use of popular color tones.

    When using other printers:

    Prints by utilizing the color space that can be reproduced on the printer. Select this when you want to print with an impression close to that on the monitor since the characteristics of the data displayed on the monitor will be reflected correctly.
