Backlight Correction

Correct backlight scenes in which the image is too dark or the background is too bright.

  1. In the Retouch Image dialog box, click Backlight Correction.

    The Backlight Correction dialog box appears.

    Under Original Image, the original image is displayed and under Touched Up Image, the retouched image is displayed.

  2. Adjust the Level as you check the image.

    Note

    • If the photo includes people, click Auto Adjust For Faces for automatic adjustment.
    • To enlarge or reduce the view magnification, click (Zoom In) or (Zoom Out). You can also specify the magnification in the drop-down list.
    • To restore the original image, click Reset.

  3. Click OK.

    Your changes are confirmed.
