Applying Gradation to Photos
Apply a gradation to photos. Specify the direction of the gradation, opacity of the starting point and ending point, etc. as desired.

Click Edit in the task area, and then click Photos.
The view switches to the Edit screen (Photos).

On the poster, click the photo to which you want to apply a gradation.

In Edit Image, click (Gradation).
The Edit Image dialog box and preview panel appear.

In Gradation Orientation, select the direction of the gradation.

In the preview panel, select the starting point and ending point of the gradation.
Applying gradation with midpoints:
Gradations can be more variable by using midpoints.

In Number of Points in Gradation, click Three Points.
In the preview, midpoints (C1 and C2) appear between the starting point (A) and ending point (B).

For Point A Opacity, Point B Opacity, and Point C Opacity, enter the value directly or click (Up Arrow) or (Down Arrow) on the right to increase or decrease the value.
The gradation level is set.
Note
- Increase the value to increase opacity and decrease the value to increase transparency.

In the preview, drag the starting point (A), ending point (B), and midpoints (C1 and C2).
This will set the direction of the gradation.
Note
- To adjust the spacing, move the midpoints (C1 and C2) on the line connecting the starting point (A) and ending point (B).
Applying gradation without midpoints:

In Number of Points in Gradation, click Two Points.
In the preview, the starting point (A) and ending point (B) appear.

For Point A Opacity and Point B Opacity, enter the value directly or click (Up Arrow) or (Down Arrow) on the right to increase or decrease the value.
The gradation level is set.

- To remove the gradation, in the Edit Image dialog box, click the selected Gradation Orientation again.
