Wired Connection

Important

  • If printer is performing cleaning, print head alignment, or other processes, wait for the process to finish, before starting setup.

Note

  1. If HOME is displayed on the left side of the screen, tap HOME to display the HOME screen.

  2. You will need an Ethernet cable (sold separately).

  3. Connect the printer and a network device (router, etc.) with an Ethernet cable.

    Do not connect to any other port.

  4. Select LAN settings on HOME screen.

  5. Select Wired LAN.

  6. Select Settings.

  7. Select Enable/disable Wired LAN.

  8. Select Enable.

  9. Tap HOME on the left side of the screen.

    The network connection setup is now complete.

    Once connection is complete, Wired LAN enabled icon appears on the screen.

    If performing setup with software, return to the software and proceed with the installation.

    Windows

    Click Setup icon (or Smart Connect icon ) on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with setup.

    macOS

    Click Setup icon on the Dock at the bottom of the screen, and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with setup.
