Remote UI

You can use Remote UI to check printer status and change settings over the network or by USB depending on the model. You can access the printer from your computer or from the network using a web browser, including on a smartphone or tablet.

Remote UI can be used in either Administrator mode or Standard user mode. Administrator mode allows you to change all printer settings and to place restrictions on standard user operations. Standard user mode allows you to change only certain settings.

• Before using Remote UI, connect the printer to your network. Remote UI can be used with Wi-Fi and Wireless Direct. In addition, some models can use Remote UI even with a USB connection, but you can not use it if USB connection has been restricted. To configure IEEE802.1X/EAP, you need to configure it in multiple connection environments.
