Setting Up - Advanced Settings of Receive Mode

Set the mode to DRPD, and then set the fax ring pattern and the number of times to ring the telephone connected to the printer.

  • Contact your local telephone company for detailed information on this service.

  1. Press the FAX FAX button on the printer.

  2. Press the Menu/Wireless connect Menu/Wireless connect button.

  3. Use the Left Right buttons to select Receive mode set.

  4. Press the OK button.

  5. Select DRPD, and then press the OK button.

  6. Make sure Yes is selected, and then press the OK button.

  7. Make sure DRPD: FAX ring pat. is selected, and then press the OK button.

  8. Select the ring pattern that your telephone company assigned to your fax number, and then press the OK button.

  9. Make sure Incoming ring is selected, and then press the OK button.

  10. Use the Numeric buttons or Left Right buttons to set the number of times to ring the telephone.

  11. Press the OK button.
