Set the mode to DRPD, then set the fax ring pattern and the number of times to ring the telephone connected to the printer.

  • Contact your local telephone company for detailed information on this service.

  1. Press the FAX button on the printer.

  2. Press the Menu button.

  3. Use the LeftRight buttons to select Receive mode set.

  4. Press the OK button.

  5. Select DRPD, then press the OK button.

  6. Make sure that Yes is selected, then press the OK button.

  7. Make sure that DRPD: FAX ring pat. is selected, then press the OK button.

  8. Select the ring pattern that your telephone company assigned to your fax number, then press the OK button.

  9. Make sure that Incoming ring is selected, then press the OK button.

  10. Use the Numeric buttons or the LeftRight buttons to set the number of times to ring the telephone.
