Make a line connection.

  1. Connect the supplied phone cord to the printer's jack (labeled LINE on the back).

  2. Connect the other end of the phone cord to the phone line.

  3. Press the OK button.

    Easy setup screen: Connect your Tel socket and the LINE jack on the device's rear side
  4. Remove the cap from the printer's jack (labeled EXT. on the back), then connect the printer to a telephone with the phone cord.

    • If you have only one phone number, the phone and fax machine cannot be plugged into different wall jacks.

  5. Press the OK button.
