The following connection methods are available on the printer.

Wireless Connection

Connects to a network without using a cable.
One method uses a wireless router; the other does not.

Note

  • Wireless connection is useful if you want to print from a smartphone, tablet, etc.

If you have a wireless router, we recommend that you use this method.

USB Connection

Connects the printer and a computer with a USB cable.

Note

  • This is the easiest way to establish a connection. Only one computer can be connected.
