Set the mode to DRPD, then set the fax ring pattern and the number of times to ring the telephone connected to the printer.

1. Press the button on the printer.

2. Use the buttons to select FAX.

3. Press the OK button.

   

4. Select Function list, then press the OK button.

   

5. Select Receive mode settings, then press the OK button.

   

6. Select DRPD, then press the Function button that corresponds to Advanced.

   

7. Select DRPD: FAX ring pattern, then press the OK button.

   

8. Select the ring pattern that your telephone company assigned to your fax number, then press the OK button.

   

9. Select Incoming ring, then press the OK button.

   

10. Use the buttons to set the number of times to ring the telephone.

    

11. Press the OK button.
