The RX start time is a period of time for the ringing sound before the start of fax reception. It is set to 15 seconds by default.
| If you mainly receive faxes and seldom receive voice calls (or if you prefer a short duration of ringing sound), set the time to 10 to 15 seconds. |
| If you receive both voice calls and faxes and you want the FAX machine to receive faxes automatically, set the time to longer than 15 seconds so that you are sure you can receive voice calls while the phone is ringing. |
| If you want to use the answering machine and you want the FAX machine to receive faxes automatically, set the time longer than that you set in the answering machine. *After the setting, make a call to the FAX machine from another phone, and confirm that the answering machine operates properly. |
