Setting Up - Advanced Settings of Receive Mode

Make settings so that all the calls will be received as faxes automatically after the telephone connected to the printer rings for a specified period of time.

1. Press the HOME button on the printer.

2. Use the buttons to select Fax.

3. Press the OK button.

   

4. Make sure Menu is selected, and then press the OK button.

   

5. Select Receive mode settings, and then press the OK button.

   

6. Make sure Tel. priority mode is selected, and then press the OK button.

   

7. Make sure Yes is selected, and then press the OK button.

   

8. Make sure Manual/auto switch is selected, and then press the OK button.

   

9. Select ON, and then press the OK button.

   

10. Use the Numeric buttons or buttons to set the period of time for which to ring the telephone.

11. Press the OK button.

12. Select User-friendly RX, and then press the OK button.

    

13. Select OFF, and then press the OK button.
