Setting Up - Advanced Settings of Receive Mode

Set the mode to DRPD, and then set the fax ring pattern and the number of times to ring the telephone connected to the printer.

1. Press the HOME button on the printer.

2. Use the buttons to select Fax.

3. Press the OK button.

   

4. Make sure Menu is selected, and then press the OK button.

   

5. Select Receive mode settings, and then press the OK button.

   

6. Select DRPD, and then press the OK button.

   

7. Make sure Yes is selected, and then press the OK button.

   

8. Make sure DRPD: Fax ring pat. is selected, and then press the OK button.

   

9. Select the ring pattern that your telephone company assigned to your fax number, and then press the OK button.

   

10. Select Incoming ring, and then press the OK button.

    

11. Use the Numeric buttons or buttons to set the number of times to ring the telephone.

    

12. Press the OK button.
