Checking Connection Status

Check the phone cord connection status in the following points:

  • Are you using the supplied phone cord or a duplex phone cord?

  • Is the phone cord connected to the printer's jack (labeled LINE on the back)?

  • Is the other end of the phone cord connected to the wall jack?

    • xDSL modem with built-in splitter

    • Splitter + xDSL modem

      figure: Check the connection between the phone cord and the phone line (splitter + xDSL modem)

  • Is the phone cord clicked into place?
