Wired Connection

Before Starting Wired Connection Setup

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.

    If the power is on, the POWER lamp (A) will be lit.

If the printer is performing cleaning, print head alignment, or other processes

Wait for the process to finish, before starting setup.

  1. You will need an Ethernet cable (sold separately).

  2. Remove the Cap (B) from the port located on the left side at the back of the printer.

  3. Connect the printer and a network device (router, etc.) with an Ethernet cable (C).

    Do not connect to any other port.

  4. Press the HOME button (D) on the printer.

  5. Use the Up or Down button (E) to select LAN settings.

  6. Press the OK button.

  7. Select Change LAN.

  8. Press the OK button.

  9. Select Activate wired LAN.

  10. Press the OK button.

    When connection is complete, LAN icon appears at the upper right of the screen.

The network connection setup is now complete.
