Do you have a firewall installed?

Check whether the machine is connected to a network protected by a firewall.

If the network is not protected by a firewall, it means that the machine is directly connected to the Internet. In this case, stronger security settings are required, because there is a danger of unauthorized access from outside.

If you are unsure if there is a firewall in your environment, contact your network administrator.
