Scanner Buttons Do Not Work

Check 1 Reinstall the required applications from the Setup CD-ROM or the web page.

Check 2 To use the COPY button, install the printer driver for your printer.

Check 3 To use the COPY button, check that your printer operates properly.

Check 4 To use the SEND button, install a compatible application or e-mail client.
If the e-mail client does not operate properly, check that the e-mail client's MAPI is enabled. Refer to the e-mail client's manual for how to set MAPI.

Check 5 The IJ Scan Utility screen may be hidden behind other windows.
Click Canon IJ Scan Utility on the taskbar to bring the IJ Scan Utility screen to the front.

Check 6 Applications may not be assigned to the scanner buttons.
