Starting Professional Print & Layout
Professional Print & Layout can be started as follows.
Important
- Professional Print & Layout cannot be started if a printer that supports Professional Print & Layout has not been added.
- The Google Analytics license agreement dialog appears only upon initial startup.
Starting from the Programs Folder

Select Applications from the Go menu of Finder.

Double-click Canon Utilities > Professional Print & Layout > the Professional Print & Layout icon.
Starting from Digital Photo Professional

In Digital Photo Professional, select the folder containing the image you want to print.

Select the image you want to print.
Note
- For available data formats, see Available Data Formats.

From the File menu of Digital Photo Professional, select Plug-in printing > Print with Professional Print & Layout.
Important
- Professional Print & Layout cannot be started when no image is selected in Digital Photo Professional.
Starting from Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Lightroom

Open the image you want to print in Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Lightroom.

From the File menu, navigate as follows:
Photoshop/Photoshop Elements:
Select Automate > Canon Professional Print & Layout....
Lightroom:
Select Plug-in Extras > Canon Professional Print & Layout....
Important
- Professional Print & Layout cannot be started when no image is displayed in Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Lightroom.

If Professional Print & Layout is not displayed in the menu of Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Lightroom even after installing Professional Print & Layout, follow these steps to install the Photoshop plug-in.
- Exit Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Lightroom.
- Select Applications from the Go menu of Finder, and then double-click Canon Utilities > Professional Print & Layout > Install Files > the Plug-In Install icon.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install.
- The Photoshop plug-in may not be installed if Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Lightroom has never been started.
- If using Lightroom, the Photoshop plug-in must be installed on a user-by-user basis. If you have multiple user accounts on the computer, install it on a user-by-user basis.
