Confirm the Printer Paper Information

From the printer driver, you can check the size and type of paper that was set to the printer and check the remaining paper amount.

The procedure for checking paper information from the printer driver is as follows:

  1. From the Canon IJ Printer Utility pop-up menu, select Paper Information on Printer

  2. Check printer's paper information

    When you select the paper source to be checked from the list, the current settings and status of the printer, including Size, Roll Paper Width, Media Type, Paper Remaining, are displayed.

Important

  • When using connected to the network, the Paper Information on Printer is not displayed on OS X Mountain Lion v10.8, or OS X Lion v10.7.5.

Note

  • Click Update to update the information to the latest information.
  • The content displayed will differ depending on the paper feed position selected.
