Notes on Usage (Printer Add-ons (Windows))

• All of the following conditions must be met.

  • You have agreed to the Canon Print Assistant terms of use and to the transmission of information required for using the service

  • The printer is registered with one of the following services:

    • Japan: MyPrint With (Canon Printer Linkage Service)

    • US, Europe: Canon Printer Linkage Service

  • Both the printer and the computer are connected to the internet

  • The printer and the computer can communicate with each other

  • If you are using a printer with replaceable ink tanks or ink cartridges, the following conditions are met:

    • You are using genuine Canon ink

    • The remaining ink level detection function is enabled

Checking Canon Print Assistant Information Transmission Settings

From the Windows Start menu, select All and click Canon Print Assistant. In the dialog box that appears, click About Information We Collect to check whether you have agreed to the transmission of information required for using the service.

Registering with Canon Printer Linkage Service

From the Windows Start menu, select All and click Canon PRINT. Click the printer icon, and you can register from About Canon Printer Linkage Service under Device Information.
You can also download Canon PRINT from the Microsoft Store and install it on your computer.
