Black and White Printing
To easily print black and white photos in high quality in Print Studio Pro, select Black and White Photo for Color Mode.
On Canon PRO series inkjet printers, you can perform black and white printing suitable for black and white photos. In black and white printing, a stable gray balance is achieved since more gray ink and black ink are used compared to color printing, and thus black and white photos are printed with rich gradation and little color shift.

Adjusting Black and White Photos
Adjust black and white color tones with Print Studio Pro. For conversion of data to black and white, brightness adjustment, and other adjustments, use Print Studio Pro or image editing software.
Black and White Printing on Canon PRO Series Inkjet Printers
The black and white printing on Canon PRO series inkjet printers is suitable for printing data whose color space is sRGB. Gradation will be printed smoothly when the color space is set to sRGB at the time of RAW development.

Open image in Print Studio Pro, and then select Black and White Photo for Color Mode.

Note
In Print Studio Pro, when Black and White Photo is selected, images are converted to black and white data suitable for Canon PRO series inkjet printers to perform highly accurate color adjustment. Therefore, the color tones of images cannot be retained. If you want to adjust tones such as Warm Tone and Cool Tone or color tones, adjust them after selecting Black and White Photo in Print Studio Pro.
Printing Color Photos in Black and White
In Print Studio Pro, you can print color photos in black and white without turning them into black and white in image editing software.
Select Black and White Photo for Color Mode, and then print.
Printing Monotone Photos
By printing as color photos, you can print images whose colors have been adjusted to a monotone color such as sepia or red in image editing software while retaining the adjusted color tones.
