Saving in a PosterArtist File Format

Save created posters as ".cpfx2" files, the proprietary PosterArtist format.

  1. In the File menu, click Save As....

The Save As dialog box appears.

    Note

    • To overwrite a saved file, select Save. The Save dialog box appears.
  2. Specify the save location.

  3. In File name, enter the file name.

  4. Click Save As.

The poster is saved as a file exclusively for use with PosterArtist (file extension ".cpfx2").

    Note

    • Photos, clipart, and other materials in the temporary tray are saved with the poster.

    Important

    • Templates in the temporary tray are not saved.
    • Files saved in PosterArtist V3.0 or later cannot be opened in earlier versions of PosterArtist.
    • When a poster is saved in CPFX2 format (.cpfx2), a jpg file for the thumbnail and a folder containing retouch image information are also saved with the cpfx2 file. When moving, copying, or deleting a cpfx2 file, make sure you also move, copy, or delete the jpg file and the folder as well.
