The Printer Cannot Be Detected in the Wired LAN

  1. Check1 Make sure that the printer is turned on.

  2. Check2 Is the wired LAN setting of the printer enabled?

    To check whether the wired LAN is enabled, print out the network setting information.

    If the wired LAN is disabled, press and hold the RESUME/CANCEL button, then release the button when the POWER lamp flashes 11 times. The wired LAN is enabled.

  3. Check3 Make sure that the LAN cable is connected properly.

    Make sure that the printer is connected to the router with the LAN cable. If the LAN cable is loose, connect the cable properly.

    If the LAN cable is connected to the WAN side of the router, connect the cable to the LAN side of the router.
