Examine the nozzle check pattern, and clean the print head if necessary.
Check if there are horizontal streaks in the patterns (1), (2), and (3).
(A) Number of sheets printed so far
If there are horizontal streaks in the pattern (1):
Cleaning the nozzles of the ink group 1 (GY, PBK, LGY, or DGY) is required.
Select the ink group to clean using the computer.

(B) Good
(C) Bad (horizontal streaks are present)
If there are horizontal streaks in the pattern (2):
Cleaning the nozzles of the ink group 2 (PC, M, Y, or PM) is required.
Select the ink group to clean using the computer.

If there are horizontal streaks in the pattern (3):
Cleaning the nozzles of the ink group 3 (MBK, C, R, or CO) is required.
Select the ink group to clean using the computer.
