Color mode
Lets you specify the color(s) to use when printing HP-GL/2 data.
Select this setting item from Device settings > Print settings > HP-GL/2 print settings > Print quality settings.

Color (perceptual) (Initial setting)

If you select Line drawing for Print target:
Reproduces colors of general images naturally and features smooth gradation. In addition, selecting this setting allows you to adjust colors easily using an application software.

If you select Photo for Print target:
Reproduces colors of general photos naturally and features smooth gradation. In addition, selecting this setting allows you to adjust colors easily using an application software.

Color (saturation)

If you select Line drawing for Print target:
Prints in easy-to-see colors suitable for line drawing.

If you select Photo for Print target:
Reproduces vivid colors on data such as a poster.

Color (correct off)
Performs printing without color matching.

Monochrome

If you select Line drawing for Print target:
Select this setting to print a line drawing using black ink.

If you select Photo for Print target:
Prints color data converting to monochrome. Continuous tones are reproduced using gray halftones.

Monochrome BMP
The colors other than white are printed in black.
