Printer Turns Off Unexpectedly or Repeatedly

1. If printer is set to turn off automatically after a certain time, disable this setting.

   If you have set the printer to turn off automatically after a specified time, the power will shut off by itself once that time has elapsed.

   1. Check that printer is turned on.

   2. Display printer status on web browser.

   3. Select Printer settings.

   4. Select Energy saving settings.

   5. Check displayed message and press OK button.

   6. Select Auto power off (LAN/USB connection) or Auto power off (no LAN/USB connection).

   7. Select OFF.

      Note

      • If Auto power off is set to OFF, power consumption will increase.

   8. Select OK.

      The setting to shut off the power automatically is disabled.
