Important

  • Ink will take longer to dry because this setting prints at high density.

    Note the following:

    • Allow enough time for drying.

If the ink has not dried sufficiently, ink may stick to surfaces or the printed surface may get scratched.

Change [Drying Time] settings if necessary.

Refer to "Specifying the Ink Drying Time" for details.

    • The printer's [Cutting mode] is set to [Eject cut] by default.

      Use [Eject cut] when printing.

If the printer's [Cutting mode] setting is changed to [Automatic cut], paper may be cut before the ink has dried sufficiently.

Refer to "Specifying the Cutting Method for Rolls" for details.

    • There may be scratching at the leading or trailing edges of the printing surface, or paper jams may occur.

To prevent this from occurring, we recommend that you create a 75 mm margin at the trailing edge of the image.

    • Because ink may stain the floor or other surfaces, we recommend that you attach a basket.

Printing without a basket may cause ink to get on the floor or other surfaces.

Refer to "Using the Basket on the Printer Stand" or "Using the Desktop Basket" for details.

If you do not use a basket, hold the paper while it is ejected and cut it, ensuring the printed side does not touch the floor or other surfaces.

Note

  • These are general-purpose paper settings.
  • Borderless printing
Depending on the paper used, borderless printing may not be available.
