Cleaning the Internal Light
Clean the printer regularly to maintain better printing quality and help prevent problems.
To ensure a comfortable working environment, clean the lights inside the printer about once a month.

Turn printer off.

Unplug power cord from outlet.
Caution
- Always turn off the printer and unplug the power cord before cleaning or maintenance. Accidentally leaving the printer on poses a risk of injury if you touch moving parts inside the printer.

Open top cover.

Wring out a soft cloth dampened with water or watered-down neutral detergent, and use it to wipe off any dirt.
Warning
- Never use flammable solvents such as alcohol, benzine, or thinner. If these substances come into contact with electrical components inside the printer, there is a risk of fire or electrical shock.
Important
- Do not use tissue paper, paper towels, rough-textured cloth, or similar materials for cleaning so as not to scratch the surface.
- When neutral detergent is used, be sure to wipe off the detergent with soft cloth with water.

When dirt is wiped off, wipe off water with dry soft cloth.

Close top cover.

Plug power cord into outlet.
