Enabling/Disabling Communication Protocols

You can enable and disable use of communication protocols such as WSD, Bonjour, LPR, RAW, IPP, FTP, and SNMP. Check the settings using the operation panel of the printer or Remote UI. See Starting Remote UI for access from Remote UI.

WSD/Bonjour/ IPP

  • For the operation panel

    Select LAN Settings > Wi-Fi, Wireless Direct, or Wired LAN, > Detailed Settings.

  • Remote UI

    System info and LAN settings > LAN settings > Advanced setup > Yes

SNMP

  • Remote UI

    System info and LAN settings > LAN settings > Advanced setup > Yes
