Cause

The 5B01 support code signifies that the ink absorber is full.

Ink used during cleaning and other processes is captured in the ink absorber. The printer will not be able to print when the ink absorber is full.

What to Do

If you intend to PRINT or COPY, the ink absorber should be replaced. Contact Canon for repair as soon as possible. The ink absorber can only be replaced by a qualified technician.
