Cause

When performing automatic intensity adjustment copy with smartphone or tablet, original is loaded in ADF (Auto Document Feeder). ADF does not support automatic intensity adjustment.

What to Do

Select a copy method besides automatic intensity adjustment in copy intensity setting or move the original to the platen, and then try again.
